BORGATA REMAINS COMMITTED TO THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR GUESTS, EMPLOYEES AND THE OVERALL WELL-BEING OF THE STATE.

Masks must be worn at all times unless you are actively eating or drinking. Indoor food and beverage service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This includes beverage service on the casino floor. Patrons must be seated when eating or consuming a beverage. Bar-side seating remains prohibited.

Your Resort Experience

BORGATA PROPERTY POLICIES

  • Property-wide: Food and beverage consumption is prohibited in all public areas of the building unless seated in an individual seat or table. Drinks may not be consumed when you are in transit or when you are standing. Food and outside beverages are prohibited on the casino floor.
  • Indoor Dining: Per NJ Governor Phil Murphy's Executive Order, indoor dining operations are permitted at a limited capacity with social distance between tables. Masks must be worn until your food or drinks arrive and must be put back on your face after you have finished consuming your food or drink.
  • Casino Floor: The number of customers will be limited in accordance with local gaming regulations and guests will be asked to refrain from standing beside or behind customers playing. Where applicable, polycarbonate barriers or similar alternatives may be installed and there will be increased sanitation of all active tables, machines, kiosks, and ATMs.
  • Smoking: In compliance with Governor Murphy's Executive Order, smoking and vaping on the casino floor is prohibited. Guests may visit designated outdoor smoking areas.

ARRIVAL

A little different than before, but still your happy place.

  • Self-Parking: The self-park garage and the North Entrance Surface Parking Lot are open. Masks must be worn as guests exit and interact with parking attendants.
  • Valet: Borgata valet has implemented the following procedures in accordance with health and safety guidelines:
    • Masks must be worn upon arrival
    • Roll down driver side window 
    • Turn off air conditioning and heating
    • Leave keys in the vehicle cup holder
  • Pre-Registration: Guests can pre-register their hotel room shortly before arrival by calling: 609.317.7272. You will receive a text once your room is ready.
  • Lobby Hosts: Team members with mobile devices will be stationed in the lobby to assist guests that would rather not wait in the line at the Front Desk. They will receive a text once their room is ready.
  • Standard Check-In: Only the main guest of the reservation should wait in the line to help with social distancing

  • BorgataEATS: Allows guests to order meals from Borgata eateries like Old Homestead Steak House, Angeline by Michael Symon, BetMGM Sportsbook & Bar and more to pick up at the restaurant and enjoy in the comfort of their guest room or home. Call 609.317.8EAT (8328) or order online to place your order for pick-up.
  • Digital Menus: Guests can scan QR codes using their mobile devices to view digital menus at all Borgata dining establishments. Reservations are required for fine dining restaurants. To book a table, please call our Customer Care Department at 609.317.1000 or book online. Hotel guests can also scan QR codes to view in-room dining menus.

Full Seven-Point Safety Plan

The MGM Resorts team has been working with medical experts to develop a plan that has allowed us to welcome you back. Our “Seven-Point Safety Plan,” puts your health and safety at the center of all we do. It is a comprehensive, multi-layered approach with guidance from public health experts.

Below you will find information regarding our seven key points and Borgata's rider to the MGM Resorts International Seven-Point Safety Plan.

SCREENING, TEMPERATURE CHECKS & EMPLOYEE TRAINING

Extensive employee protocols are put in place including screening questions, employee temperature checks and training programs on health and safety protocols. We ask guests to stay at home if they have COVID-19 related symptoms or live with someone who has recently tested positive. Medical and security personnel on staff will be able to assist should a guest develop symptoms while staying at one of our resorts.

MANDATORY MASKS & PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

Employees and guests will be required to wear masks in public areas. Masks will be provided free of charge. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs. Guestroom Attendants will wear masks and gloves while cleaning each room and will change gloves between guestrooms.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

We will implement 6-foot physical distancing policies throughout the resort with floor guides to assist and remind our guests. Where this isn’t feasible, we will mitigate as best as possible with polycarbonate barriers, face shields or clear signage.

HANDWASHING & ENHANCED SANITATION

Guests to our resorts will find easy access to custom-built handwashing stations and hand sanitizer throughout the property. Although our cleaning protocols have always been important, we have increased the amount of routine cleaning, with a focus on high-touch surfaces and common areas using cleaning products that meet EPA guidelines. In addition to increased and enhanced routine cleaning of guestrooms and public spaces based on CDC guidance, electrostatic sprayers will be utilized in many large public spaces so that disinfectant is applied efficiently.

HVAC CONTROLS AND AIR QUALITY

Rigorous measures have been taken to provide as much outside air circulation as we can throughout our buildings and guest rooms with air filters that meet or exceed published standards.

INCIDENT RESPONSE PROTOCOLS MGM

has compiled its own internal team and processes to respond if a guest or employee tests positive for COVID-19. We ask that if a guest tests positive after visiting one of our properties, they alert us through a special email address (covid19@mgmresorts.com). We will immediately report any positive test results to the local health department and assist with contact tracing to support the health department investigators.

DIGITAL INNOVATIONS

Digital menus will be available to view on personal mobile devices via QR codes. To minimize groups congregating while they wait, outdoor restaurant guests will receive text message notification when their tables are ready.

EXTENDING YOUR TIER STATUS & BENEFITS

We are excited to announce that the M life Rewards Tier Status, whether Platinum, Gold or Pearl, you earned in 2019 or in 2020, will be extended through January 31, 2022.

EARNING YEAR CHANGES

With this extension, we are also changing our earning year to January 1 – December 31 from what’s historically been October 1 – September 30, extending your benefits an additional three months and moving to a calendar year that’s easier to understand and track.

POINTS & EXPRESS COMPS™ REMINDER

We want to make sure you don’t miss redeeming and enjoying any Points or Express Comps™. As a result, we have suspended Point and Express Comp expirations through May 31, 2021.
